How to join?

Complete the below steps/forms after being accepted into a den.  

1. BSA youth registration(new scouts only): Submit Youth Scouts application at my.bsa.us/023paa0995mb

2. Pack Registration Form: Complete this registration form to enroll in pack 995. Please refer to Pack leaders for open positions.

3. BSA Adult Application : Complete and submit, print outs of the adult application & background check verification form.

4. BSA Health Form (for Scouts AND both parents AND any siblings that will attend pack events): Type the information into this fillable PDF and save for future use, as you might need additional copies throughout the year for various BSA camps.

5. Medical Insurance Card (for Scouts AND both parents AND any siblings):  Please make a copy of the front of your medical insurance card.

6. Youth Protection Training (YPT) : Both parents (and any other adults that may attend with your child, ie. grandparents) will need to complete BSA’s 1 hour Youth Protection Training.

• New parents, you will need to create an account at https://my.scouting.org. 

• Returning parents, if you have already taken YPT training, it must be valid for the current year. If you need to renew, sign into your existing account.  NOTE: YPT must be renewed prior to the expiration date.

Once you log in, click on the logo on the right that says YOUTH PROTECTION BEGINS WITH YOU. See instructions below. NOTE: Please be sure to complete the MANDATORY TRAINING (Youth Protection Training - Mandatory v2) not the OPTIONAL courses with similar content!

7. Annual Pack registration fee:  paypal $300 to chair.cub995@gmail.com or check payable to "Pack 995". 

Submit YPT Certification of completion with adult & medical forms along with your insurance copy at our next Pack Meeting or contact Committee Chair to arrange drop off. Forms and fee must be submitted within 60 days of Youth Scouts Application or it will auto expire.

Scout will then need a Class A and Class B uniform and scout handbook.
