Activity calendar

At a pack level, these are what is planned:

  • Monthly pack meetings

  • Monthly hikes

  • Popcorn fundraising

  • Fall + Spring Overnights

  • Service events: Red Ribbon Week, school cleanup, Scouting for Food

  • Pinewood Derby car building and racing

  • Blue + Gold Celebration

  • Year end Picnic

At the den level:

  • Monthly den meetings

  • Den outings & picnics

  • Bobcat Ceremony

  • AOL bridging Ceremony

  • Pack Advancement awards


What days of the week do you usually meet?

  • Our pack meetings are typically the second Wednesday of the month from 6:45 - 8:00 pm.

  • Den meetings are decided by the den leader and families, typically once a month for an hour.

What’s the time commitment?

  • Den meetings: 1 - 3 hours/month depending on your den

  • Pack meetings: 1.5 hours/month

  • Optional Activities (but highly recommended):

- Camping: Pack overnighter, Day Camp, Resident Camps

- Hikes: Every month 2-4 hours per hike

- Pinewood Derby: 2 hours minimum

- Service Projects : red ribbon, scouting for food, clean up projects, Care Package & more

- STEM activities

- Picnics

What do parents need to Know?

  • As per our pack policy, parents should stay with their kids at all of the events.

  • Also, there are requirements that need to be done at home and with parents - child protection, family’s duty to god, cyber safety.

  • Lastly, the parents can help out at pack activities or be a part of our pack chair. Everyone in this pack, including the Cubmaster, den leaders are parent volunteers just like everyone else.

Can kids join this summer or wait until the school year begins?

They can join in the summer and participate in the summer activities - day camps, hikes, summer camp.


The school has already started, can my son/daughter still join?

The registration remains open a few weeks after the school started. As long as it is open, you can sign up. If the registration is closed, you can still contact us and we will work with you to figure out options for you to decide.


Can Siblings join in the activities?

Yes, Cub Scouts is family oriented with siblings/parents joining in most activities (campouts, hikes, Pinewood Derby).
